Storeroom Warehouse Associate (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: On-site Nissan customer facility
Pay: $17.50/HR
Schedule:
- Regular Hours:
- (1opening) Friday–Sunday, 5:30 AM–7:00 PM (paid lunch)
- (1 opening) Monday-Thursday 7:30am – 6pm (paid lunch)
- Training: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM for 2–3 weeks
About the Role
We’re seeking a reliable and customer‑focused Storeroom Warehouse Associate to support daily operations inside a customer’s on‑site storeroom. This position plays an important role in keeping materials organized, orders fulfilled, and customers supported. What You’ll Do
- Fill orders and pull tickets accurately
- Unload trucks and receive incoming products
- Put away materials and keep the storeroom organized
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (experience helpful, training provided)
- Interact directly with customers—professional customer service is essential
- Use email, close out purchase orders, and reference spreadsheets for product information
- Assist with general warehouse tasks such as stocking, moving materials, and inventory support
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Perform additional duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Previous warehouse or material‑handling experience is helpful but not required
- Strong customer service skills—this is a customer‑facing role
- Basic computer ability to use email, read spreadsheets, and enter information
- Able to read and follow work orders, safety rules, and procedures
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Detail‑oriented, reliable, and safety‑minded
- Able to lift 25 lbs or more (with assistance when needed)
- Willing to complete equipment certifications (such as forklift) if required
Work Environment
- Active warehouse and storeroom environment
- Regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Use of PPE such as gloves, eyewear, and steel‑toe shoes
- Exposure to warehouse noise, equipment, and changing temperatures
- Overtime may be required depending on operational needs
Dress Code Requirements
To ensure safety and a professional appearance:
- Steel toe shoes with leather uppers required
- Solid-colored shirt with at least a 4-inch sleeve
- Solid-colored pants or blue denim jeans
- Full leather shoes only — no canvas, cloth, or non-enclosed footwear
